The Weather Was So Beautiful!!!!
Cheap 7am flight direct from Austin to Santa Ana! We had the day to explore. 1 car went into LA, “hiked” to the Observatory, lunched at Joy Taiwanese, and shopped at Costco
Negina & I walked a local trail then set sail on a brewery tour.
Marshall got Covid so couldn’t go!
Honeymooners joined us!
Things that made us feel like we should be in the master’s division:
Rented a Triplex in Newport Beach 1 block from the beach
Had 4 rental cars!
Planned for cold weather, so team drink was warm rum and cider
First time playing in the 4/5 division and it was perfect / won 5/6 of our games
Had folks think they were going out, then never did
Took team turmeric shots
Participated in the tournament entertainment
Lots of fun with spirit games
